Fathers, Callings & School

♥Love me some babies!!!!!

We had a super fun get together as a Winters Family on Sunday for Father's Day. We got lots of group pics including this adorable one of all the babies.

What a wonderful daddy. As if you haven't heard enough about him already I'm gonna ramble on more! Devon has been all I ever wanted and more as a father to my child. He is just naturally great with kids and even better with his own. He helps me so much(not to mention is the one who goes and gets Londyn first thing every morning and makes her a bottle) He has such a strong testimony(sometimes more emotional than me!) and a worthy priesthood holder. I will always remember the time he laid his hands on my head while I was in labor with Londyn and gave me the sweetest blessing. He is just amazing.

My dad (left, in the above picture)is also wonderful. I still remember all the blessings I have received from him. He has always been the happiest person I know. Anyone who knows him knows! He is always laughing and smiling and has way too much energy for a man his age! All growing up he could never say no to his girls :) My father in law(right, in the above picture) is seriously one of the most generous people. He LOVES to hold Londyn whenever he gets the chance and also treats me just like I am one of his biological kids. Happy Father's Day!

Things have been speeding up in our home! Devon and I both will be starting school again in the fall. I am going back full time. Online though, so that won't be too bad but I just know that finishing my teaching degree is really important and if I have the ability to do it then why shouldn't I? I am so proud of devon who continues to provide for us and go to school.

I also just got called to be the Relief Society Secretary in our ward. They hadn't even received our records yet but they seemed to know just where to put me, haha! So I am going to be extremely busy but I know I will manage if only my child can learn to be patient with her mom who will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off!

Better Together

On the 16th we have been married for 2 years! I don't want to get very mushy on the blog so I will just say that I am such a luky girl. I still don't think I deserve my husband. He NEVER thinks of himself and ALWAYS is doing stuff for Londyn and I. I know we are meant for each other and am so thankful that we were lead to each other. We always write each other love notes on our special occasions and while I was writing his the other night I was getting really emotional, he is just the best husband I could ever ask for!

He is always surprising me with things that I mention I want, like when I was pregnant with Londyn and I didn't get very many warm pajamas for her from the baby shower, he came home one day with like 12 pairs of cute warm jammies for her and some other cute outfits too that he had picked out. It was so cute and they were all really cute, he did a good job. That is just ONE example of how much he cares. I hope that I can be as wonderful to him as he is to me all the time. Sorry for the bragging, I had to!

just hangin' out!

Londyn is finally adjusting to sleeping with out being swaddled. It's cute. But she still needs help sometimes :). I took her to the doctor for her 6 month check-up and she is doing great, just has a little eczema and weighs 14lbs! She loves life and is the happiest little angel!

I had to get a picture of this moment. We were
just laying there with Londyn and we would make funny noises and she would just start laughing with out even seeing who was making the sounds. It was so cute.

And Here she is playing with dads badge before he leaves for work

Family Reunion!

So at our Rogers Family Reunion this weekend there was lots going on. Including the guys building this tree house for the kiddos! We can't wait till it's all done. The two parts are going to be connected by a bridge and us moms are going to rake the ground and make it our hang out area while the kids play. Can't wait till my kids are big enough to climb up there.

Devon was really excited to try out his new bow, he is so dang cute. He and his brother went and got a bail of hay so they could shoot it.
I love taking pictures with Londyn, She is exceptionally happy in this one! If only you could hear her while this was being taken, she was panting like a little puppy. =)
This is aunt Tami, she has M.S. and has gone through so much. She is such a fun person to be around. Here she is snuggling with Londyn.

Yay for Tane`!!!

One of my best friends Tane` (Tuh-nay =)) got sealed to the love of her life this morning! We are so happy for them. Devon and I were able to go, and it was in the same room we were sealed in so that made it even more special =) More pictures of the reception tonight are coming!

Cereal for Dinner???

Londyn had rice cereal for the first time the other day. She loved it, we couldn't get it in her mouth fast enough! I was surprised because I have heard from a lot of moms that their babies hated it so that is what I was expecting. I'm excited to finally be feeding her solids because she is so ready.
