I have been trying to mentally prepare myself for the time when I have two children. I am very excited to hold my baby boy and see him and Londyn together, but there is something telling me I am not going to be smiling all the time like I picture it. I think this is how I was thinking when I was pregnant with Londyn. I was so excited for the day to come when I could finally hold her and I had NO idea what a huge responsibility it was until she came. But I am glad I know now what I am in for and that the good things ALWAYS out number the hard things.

Londyn is such an easy baby right now and has been. I think I was pretty much spoiled because she only fusses when she is hungry tired or doesn't feel good. She is an angel whenever we take her anywhere. So easy to keep entertained, I really don't have to do much, she is not a picky eater at all, and she also loves to carry her baby dolls around with her and stops walking every once in a while to rock the baby back and forth in her arms and give it a kiss. I really hope that she is that great with her brother and not a stinker! I know she will have her moments but I am just hoping that she will be ok with having a sibling.

I wanted to document her words because I keep trying to remember them and write them down but I will just type them while I am thinking about it:

Bye-Bye
Guh-siiiiide (go outside)
ippy (sippy cup)
num-num (food)

Our Holiday

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Here is Londyn on our new ride. She loves riding in front of me and hearing all the "doggies" bark as we pass by all the houses in the neighborhood. I am anxious to have this to help me get in shape in the future! I am so sad I didn't get anymore pictures of Christmas day, we were just so busy and excited that I didn't pick up the camera or video camera very much. I wish I would have.
My mom and Devon's mom gave the most amazing gifts. My mom made giant Family Home Evening song kits. She bought huge storage bins and filled them with packets of primary songs and props to sing them with. For example: Pop Corn Popping- There was a bunch of pairs of little sunglasses with the lenses popped out for the kids to wear when they sing. All the songs have props that go with them so the kids can learn them and participate.
Devon's mom got all of the girls charm braceletts that have a charm specific to our personality. We all also got a treasure chest charm representing our families and a tiny glass bottle charm with a cork and inside were pearls from Devon's grandma's pearl necklace. There were also other crystals and jewels to add onto them. It was very special. I love how my favorite gifts were the least expensive and they were more meaningful.

We loved watching Londyn enjoy Christmas even though she didn't know what day it was. She was happy and I wrapped all her gifts in one big box since she doesn't show much interest in opening presents. So that made it easier. She went past the toys and books and straight to her new clothes and walked around with them and spread them around the house.
Christmas Eve and Day we spent most of the time with Devon's side of the fam, then we had our gift exchange and fancy dinner at my mom's. She makes such yummy food and has the most gorgeous Christmas china and glasses. My brother Michael, his wife Kim and their girls Reece (5) and Olive (8 mo.) came from Utah the day after Christmas and spent a week here. We LOVE it when they come and spend as much time with them as we can.
We took family pictures with the Haggarton side and boy I cannot wait to get the one back of all the grandkids! It was a hoot trying to get them all to sit and smile. They were screaming and running back to their moms and Londyn just sat there and stared at the screaming ones haha!

Our new years party with friends.

I hope everyone's holidays were great as well! Sorry it's such a lame post, I will be better about posting I just chose a bad time to do this. More to come!
