HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!

My Mom is the most amazing lady! She had her BIRTHDAY on the 23rd and looks as amazing as ever. Our fam went to Outback (her fave) to celebrate. I could write a novel about the reasons why I love her but for the sake of boringness to everyone else I will just sum it up with my 10 favorite things about her!

1. She has always taught me to be nice to everyone nomatter what



2. She loves classic rock & roll like Led Zeppelin & Jimmy Hendrix and literally rocks out to it whenever she hears it!



3. She never colmplains about anything, her life is so busy but she keeps going with a smile!



4. She is always there to help whenever anyone needs her, she will do whatever she can



5. She makes home-cooked meals EVERY night



6. She is the best mimi (grandma) to her grandkids and they always wanna go to mimi's house and make squishy cookies from her special recipe



7. She is a jr. high and high school art teacher and a dang cool one too!



8. She is the cutest bishop's(and branch pres.) wife and supports my dad in his calling that is so demanding!



9. She is so beautiful and has this magical twinkle in her eye when she smiles



10. She is always there to talk about anything whenever I need her!

It was also my grandpa's (dad's dad) Birthday and we went to Serrano's to celebrate. Isn't he a dang cute grandpa?!

Saturday was my little brother Josh's homecoming dance. He went with his friend Alyssa and they looked so cute together even though he got the wrong color green tie! haha it's ok :)

Just some fun times we have had lately

Two weeks ago was my last post I believe so I better get on it. Devon is doing great in his training and really loving it. I am loving the time going by fast so I hope it keeps up! This past week he got to train in town so he got to come home everyday!!! yay it has been so great and I love it but am not looking forward to saying goodbye this weekend again and back to the old schedule with training in Tucson. boo.

Catchin' Up @ Girl's Night

Thursday night a bunch of my high school girlfriends and me went out to catch up and we had a blast. We met at Paradise Bakery and stayed there until they closed then we just walked around the mall and talked. It was so fun. There was also another group of women a little older than us there that we thought were also friends from high school meeting up like us because some looked single still and some were married and prego and a few had a kid or two. It was so fun to be able to catch up and talk about old times nomatter where we all are in our lives right now.

After all the stores closed in the mall, those who could stayed and we saw Mama Mia. There was one other group of girls in the theater with us and they were a little on the hammered side and were going crazy with every song that came on in the movie like dancing and singing along and had us take pictures of them and they kept cheering "wooooooooo!!!" a lot. It was hilarious. It was a really fun night I love my girls!!!
