Merry Christmas

Yay first Christmas pictures with Santa and Mrs. Clause. Her onsie says "Santa's Helper" It was so cute. Devon's mom kept calling her a little rockette because the onsie didn't have pants to go with it so it looked like something the rocketts would perform in.on the way to costco with mom & mimi (grandma). Her first trip to the store where I covered her up like crazy
Always with grin on her face
All clean after a bath in the bouncy chair

I Can't Believe She is 1 Week Old Already!

I am going to be one of those bloggers who puts a gazillion pictures of their kids on and there is nothing wrong with that. I just know how it feels now to want to show off your little one! We are absolutely in love with our little bug. She is a sassy princess alright but we will keep her for sure ;). Even though in the night she doesn't wanna sleep unless she is being held and she poops about 6 times a day, we love her more than anything and those smiles in her sleep make it all worth it.

Here is Dev burping her as she stares at him trying to memorize her dadA miracle moment where she is sleeping on her own & not in someones arms!

After eating looking up at mom! I love when she stares at me it's the best. I just sit there and talk to her.

Loved the 1st week of parenthood. Even through the difficulty of my recovery & lack of sleep continue, I still find myself SOOOO happy.

Lovin the baby mama business

I love my baby! She is the sweetest thing and a huge blessing to us. My sister was so sweet to post when I had her but I thought I would give a little recap of the whole experience with my pics as well.

I went in to be induced at 8 on Monday night and got all hooked up and ready to go on the pit by 9. My contractions got bad enough for me to get the epidural around midnight or so. The contractions continued to progress but I wasn't dilating as quick as I thought I should be considering the pace of the contractions. But around 6 the nurse checked me and I was a 6 and she said my water was about to break and so I knew it was a little closer. But she was still predicting I would have her around noon-ish so I was expecting to be hangin out a while. Then while I was just laying there my whole body jerked and I felt a pop and looked at the nurse and she said your water just broke! So she checked me again and she said oh my the baby's head is right there and you are a 10. I was like what the??? My doctor walked in just then not knowing my status. He was there to brake my water to get things going before he went in to see patients for the day and that was awesome timing. So my mom started calling my sisters to make sure they were on their way because it was gonna happen soon and sure enough 3 pushes later at 7:48am my sweet Londyn was here! She was 7lbs 9 oz and 19 inches. Everything went perfect and there were no complications with her or me. We are so lucky. When she came out they put her on my chest and she looked right in my eyes! It was such an amazing experience.

I love being a mom and Devon loves being a dad. He is so sweet with her and wants to do whatever he can to help with anything. We came home Thursday afternoon and are loving taking care of our sweet little angel.

Baby Londyn!

This is Jenna's sister, sharing the good news while she is still in the hospital.
Baby Londyn was born Tuesday, December 9Th at 7:37am (I'm not sure of the exact time) She weighed 7lbs and 9 oz and was 19" long. (I might be wrong on the length too, sorry) But one thing is for sure, she is perfect and couldn't be any more precious. Stay tuned for more in a few days when Jenna gets home to share her story.

Warning: I might sound like a psycho

I am not the most patient person and to say the least I am pretty much at the point where I am gonna go insane. Even though it's only a day past my due date, I feel like I'm never gonna have this baby. Maybe I am being a little dramatic but I can just see them making a story about me on TLC or Discovery Health channel about "the woman who stayed pregnant forever". There actually was a thing about this lady who was pregnant and didn't know I guess and her baby died inside her and she went on for 40-something years until they discovered it still inside her. I might have gotten that story wrong for those who have actually watched that but I think I got the jist of it. Anyway, I am just not a fan of this waiting game.

I keep having contractions that hurt and it they will be like 10-15 minutes apart and it will go on for hours and then stop and start up again. I know my body is just getting ready but come on when is it going to be for real! The other day when I started having these different contractions, Devon was freaking out and he went and got the car seat and my hospital bag and put them in the truck and then came and sat back on the couch to keep timing my contractions and his leg was shaking with nervous energy. Wow, I was like calm down buddy it's not happening yet. And sure enough here I am. Still.

Has anyone else felt like me? Or am I being a psycho? My problem is I'm just anxious to hold my baby and start our family. I am not going crazy because I'm so terribly uncomfortable because I'm really not. I mean she is a little heavy but I don't notice it often enough and I'm not waddling unless I have to go to the bathroom really bad and I'm not swelling anywhere at all. I just want to see her and see what she looks like.

This post is mainly for me to vent because it makes me feel better! I might delete this in a little while but it feels really good.

Thanksgiving & I'm Still Pregnant

My sister in law Heather who was due a week & a half after me had her sweet baby the day before Thanksgiving! I am so happy for them but wishing I was holding my baby too! He was 3 weeks early and weighed 8lbs 5oz!!!! whoa nelly. I think he was so big because of all his hair! He has A TON of it!!!

Thanksgiving was great this year. We had my family's dinner at 1:30 and Devon's at 4 so it worked out great and we ate a ton.
This is Devon and I at Shelley Conway's funeral luncheon Tuesday. It was such a special funeral and we were so touched by all the speakers, especially Mike Conway and all the kids.
