New Projects For Us!

These are our new projects at hand. Devon :::LOVES::: VW's and especially the Bugs. He is going to make it run and make it look way nicer like the one below! That one might be a little nicer than what he's goin for but you get the picture! He loves to work on things and I think it's pretty cool! Whatever makes my man feel like a man I am alright with! :)
And this ugly thing is my project. Devon found this old school frig out in the desert one day while he was on an adventure with his best friend and he brought it home to surprise me becuase I LOVE antiques. This is actually a lot smaller than it looks at this angle I took the picture at! So I'm thinking I am going to either paint it red and do the whole Coca Cola theme or... do it a pale blue or pink and make it all retro looking... Any one have any suggestions? I'm excited to make it a cute decoration in my kitchen I think it would be way cute.

And a Happy Valentines Day to Jenna!!!

I wasn't really expecting anything special on Thursay since I had school. So Devon and I were just planning on going out and celebrating Friday night. But I came home from school and saw this whole set up! There were rose pettals all over the place. It was dark of course except for the candles(the flash on the camera makes it look like all the lights were on!). That frame thing surrounded by the candles is the SWEETEST poem ever about me titled My Girl. It made me cry! I could tell he felt pretty confident about himself after he saw that I had tears. What an awesome husband I have! I love Valentines Day!!!
I can't wait for our Valentines celebration to continue this weekend with our date on Friday and our Couples Valentines Dinner & Game Night at our house Saturday!

So I know I haven't posted in a while, but it's not because I haven't been up to anything. Oh I have been busy and that's just the problem.

For now, I just wanted to express my love and admiration for our wonderful former Prophet President Hinckley. I had the opportunity to go to General Conference a year ago from this spring and it was such an amazing experience. Just walking into the conference building and entering the main room, I was so overwhelmed with the spirit and couldn't help but think... how could anyone not have a testimony of the gospel while being in this room and feeling the spirit that is present? The feeling was so strong and it got even stronger when our Prophet entered the room and we all stood. I didn't even have time to think before tears started dripping off my chin. The closest I come to describing it is; never will anything on this earth give someone a surer feeling that something is right and whole.

I hope that makes sense :) I love President Hinckley and am so happy that he is home with his sweetheart.
