The hyper hypo kid- this is for you cara!

last night cara and i randomly thought of this OLD SNL skit with mike meyers and nicole kidman, but we couldnt for the life of us remember the words to the kangaroo song she sings so here you go Cara, i was laughing so hard when i watched this!

warning this might make you dumber after reading it.....

well i just wanted to post about some things that have been on my mind, first of all i wanted to know if im a psycho or what, but i have found a new addiction- dryer sheets. after my clothes are done in the dryer i go straight for the dryer sheet and snif the crap out of whats left of it. of my gosh it smells so good. then i went to walmart in search of a similar scent that i could smell up my house with and found those febreeze spray things, they have like 20 flavors of them! so they were on sale for two for five bucks so i smelled all of them to find my two favorites and got a fresh smelling one and a berry vanilla one and i cant remember the names of them but they smell awesome. i know im so retarded.

anyway, i had a weird experience and the gas station the other day, i was filling up my tank and when it was done i waited a few seconds like i always do and then i took the nozel out and it was still spraying gas out like a frikin fire hose! straight up into the air! so what did i do? i held it as far away from my body as possible and was sreaming my head off.... this has never happened to me before so the first thought that comes to my head was, holy crap i can just picture watching the news later on today and the top story of the day is a huge explosion and the circle k on williamsfield and higley because some idiot girl spilled her gas all over the place. anyway, it eventually stopped and i got in my car soooooooo embarassed and called devon and told him what happened and said that i didnt want to start my car becuase there was gas everywhere and i thought my car was going to explode- i am obviously traumatized by this event and was not thinking clearly so he just goes in a mono-tone voice- um.... no.... youre fine just start your car and go to work. hahaha so i did and i survived!


so thats my latest and greatest story/update. sorry if i bored you to death!

this was our short trip back up to alpine. we had so much fun and it was freezing cold!i love getting away from the heat. i cant wait for winter weather in the valley. our whole family came up except for our sister emilee and her husband todd who we missed a ton! but it was great to all get together. especially with my oldest brother michael, his wife kim, and their adorable 3 year old daughter reece. we always look forward to any chance we get to see them.


okay and i have no idea why after every post i make there is the hugest gap underneath it! so sorry and until i figure out how to get rid of that it will be there!

Conference Weekend at Krystal's Cabin

Us. He looks like he's high and I look like a demented circus monkey due to the laziness of the trip and the fact that we have been traveling in the car for 2 & 1/2 hours.

Making cookies from scratch on saturday. Yes making them from scratch is a step up for me :) and yes that massive object on the left side is my rear!

This weekend Devon and I went to our friends Krystal and Garret's cabin to watch conference. We had a blast. We loved just getting away and relaxing and not having to worry about anything. My sister and her husband were also up at their cabin not too far away at all so on saturday night we went to visit them and they showed us where a tree had fallen on their cabin! A dead tree fell on their cabin before they went up there and it was huge. It dented in the ceiling and even cracked the foundation! They weren't too upset about it becuase they are planning on remodeling and adding on anyway. So while we were there my brother in law took us all on a ride on his Polaris Ranger. That thing is awesome. He added back seats to it so that 3 more can ride at a time and he took us on a crazy ride. It was FREEZING cold too.

Good Practice

This past weekend was crazy for sure. Devon and I got to play Mom and Dad and watch my nieces from friday morning till sunday night while my sister and her husband went to the ASU game in San Fransisco. It was more fun than stressful but still hard work! I asked Devon if he really thought it was that bad at all and he said that one thing is for sure, he doesn't want THREE all at once! On Friday night Paige (7) and Brooklyn (4) had a cheer leading clinic that the Highland High cheerleaders were providing and Highland High and the girls loved it. Later that night we had a bunch of our married friends over and the girls were doing the cheers they learned for everyone and trying to do the stunts that the realy cheerleaders were doing. haha it was hilarious. everyone was getting a kick out of them! Then on Saturday we took the girls to Amazing Jakes and that ended sooner than the girls wanted it to but we got home and we were so tired! it really drained us. Then that night we had Mike and Cara Hill over and watched a movie and had root beer floats. Sunday was the girl's Primary program so we only had to deal with Regan (2) sitting with us! it was so cute seeing the other two up there and having Regan get so excited when she spotted her sisters on the stand!!! Church wasn't bad after all and we survived!!! All in all it was a great weekend with my 3 adorable nieces. they are such angels and getting only 4 to 5 hours of sleep was worth it! Devon was an awesome sport and woke up with the baby in the morning. He'll be an awesome daddy :). Sorry there's no pitctures!!!
