Fathers, Callings & School

♥Love me some babies!!!!!

We had a super fun get together as a Winters Family on Sunday for Father's Day. We got lots of group pics including this adorable one of all the babies.

What a wonderful daddy. As if you haven't heard enough about him already I'm gonna ramble on more! Devon has been all I ever wanted and more as a father to my child. He is just naturally great with kids and even better with his own. He helps me so much(not to mention is the one who goes and gets Londyn first thing every morning and makes her a bottle) He has such a strong testimony(sometimes more emotional than me!) and a worthy priesthood holder. I will always remember the time he laid his hands on my head while I was in labor with Londyn and gave me the sweetest blessing. He is just amazing.

My dad (left, in the above picture)is also wonderful. I still remember all the blessings I have received from him. He has always been the happiest person I know. Anyone who knows him knows! He is always laughing and smiling and has way too much energy for a man his age! All growing up he could never say no to his girls :) My father in law(right, in the above picture) is seriously one of the most generous people. He LOVES to hold Londyn whenever he gets the chance and also treats me just like I am one of his biological kids. Happy Father's Day!

Things have been speeding up in our home! Devon and I both will be starting school again in the fall. I am going back full time. Online though, so that won't be too bad but I just know that finishing my teaching degree is really important and if I have the ability to do it then why shouldn't I? I am so proud of devon who continues to provide for us and go to school.

I also just got called to be the Relief Society Secretary in our ward. They hadn't even received our records yet but they seemed to know just where to put me, haha! So I am going to be extremely busy but I know I will manage if only my child can learn to be patient with her mom who will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off!

Holy cow, Jenna, good for you! Education is NEVER wasted. Where can you get your teaching degree online? I am (assuming I get in) starting grad school next Fall... I REALLY want to go online so I can be wherever Jim is so if your school does anything with Marriage and Family Therapy, lemme know!

I'm so proud of you!! YAY!

You always have the sweetest things to say about people you love. :) I'm so happy for you to be going back to school- way to go! Are you planning on actually teaching with your degree or are you earning it because of how good it will make you feel afterward?! That sounds weird but that's why I earned my degree; I feel like I really accomplished something even though I don't use it.

Wow, a relief society secretary! I think you would do wonderful in the relief society presidency- you are very magnetic and make everyone feel loved and comfortable.
